Elisabeth Miller

Elisabeth Miller GRSM., ARCM - Musical Director

Elisabeth trained at the Royal College of Music in London. While taking a three year graduate course she studied singing under Gordon Clinton, piano under Hilda Klein, harp under Marie Goosens and choir training with Richard Latham. She then took a post graduate teaching course at London University Institute of Education.

While bringing up her two sons Elisabeth sang leading roles with many opera groups and choral societies. At the same time she made many appearances at the Royal Opera House where her brother also sang. A throat operation unfortunately ended her singing career but in 1989 she was pleased to have the opportunity to take over as musical director of the Braintree male Voice Choir.
